March  17 – Trooper Hafford was called to an assault in Wallagrass.  The complainant was a bouncer at local bar and had tried to break up a fight that started in the bar at 0100hrs on March 15th.   A male in his mid-twenties hit the bouncer across the head with a bottle, causing an injury that required stitches. Tr. Hafford attempted to locate the offender but found he had been part of a group of 6-7 males that were visiting the area from Boston, MA.  Investigation determined the group had been staying in Portage but had since left, and the owner of the lodge could not provide contact information for them.

March  18 - Trooper Darcy stopped a vehicle on I-95 in Sherman for a violation.  The female driver had bail conditions to include search and test without probable cause.  One of the male passengers also had an active warrant.  Tr. March  20 – Trooper Saucier responded to a rollover crash in Patten in which the operator did not want witnesses to call 9-1-1.  Upon arrival, Tr. Saucier found the 53-year-old male driver from Patten being assisted by local residents in getting his vehicle underway.  He displayed signs of impairment and was arrested for OUI after SFST'S.  His 11-year-old son was a passenger in the vehicle at the time of the crash.  The man was taken to ACJ for a BTD test then transported to PCJ for booking.

March  21 - Troopers Darcy and Bell responded to a residence in Oakfield to assist the ambulance service.  A male with mental health issues was naked and covered in a yellow powder.  Due to a recent email regarding chemical suicides, all personnel took the necessary precautions.  This was not a suicide attempt, and the chemicals on his body were determined to be nontoxic.  The man went with the ambulance for an evaluation after speaking with his case worker.
