June 22 – Tr. Bell responded to a complaint of a car blowing its horn near the Canadian border in Amity. Investigation showed that the female operator managed to get her car stuck near the border and was blowing her horn for help. The female was intoxicated and showed multiple clues on Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. The female was charged with OUI. Border patrol assisted with the initial response.

June 23 – Tpr. Darcy arrested a Dyer Brook man for OUI as the result of a traffic complaint on I-95. Tpr. Darcy located the vehicle in the break down lane of I-95 in Oakfield after the man struck both guardrails causing one of his tires to go flat.

June 24 – Tpr. Darcy charged an Island Falls woman with Class E Theft after she was caught on surveillance shoplifting from Jerry’s Thriftway.

June 26  – Troopers Stoutamyer, Sylvia, Levesque and Sgt. Haines conducted OUI checkpoints in Easton, Mapleton and Ashland checking over 140 motorists. Tr. Sylvia made one OUI arrest and numerous warnings were issued for other violations.

June 27 – Tr. Quint stopped male subject in Bridgewater for 92/55, male said he was late for work and was summonsed for the criminal speed.

June 27 – Tr. Quint and Tr. Bell stopped a vehicle on I95 in Smyrna after it was reported the Vermont plated car was being operated by male resembling the remaining escaped convict from New York. The operator was not the escapee but during the stop it was discovered the male operator was under suspension and he was summonsed.

Tr Hafford spent two days at Grenadier training at MCJA.

Troop F of the Maine State Police is responsible for Aroostook County and the extreme northern sections of Somerset, Piscataquis and Penobscot counties.
