Three People Injured after Two Vehicle Crash & Roll Over in Maine
Three people were injured Monday after a two-vehicle rollover crash in Newport.
Both Vehicles Rolled Over
Both vehicles rolled over and people were entrapped in the wreckage. The accident happened at the intersection of Roussin Road and Elm Street.
Two Vehicles Collided
The Newport Fire Department said one of the vehicles was crossing Elm Street when the second vehicle collided with the first one.
Three People Taken to the Hospital with Injuries
Three people had serious but non-life threatening injuries. They were transported to a local hospital for care.
Dangerous Road
Officials with Newport FD said “the intersection in East Newport can be dangerous and everyone should be cautious and pay attention.”
