Fort Kent's Austin Theriault has won again- his third victory in 14 days on the ARCA Series. He now has six total wins and is lapping the field for the driver championship.

Saturday night at Salem Speedway in Indiana Theriault started the short track race in second place, took his time and with a handful of laps to go he passed leader Zane Smith with four laps to go and got the win. He led 140 of the 200 laps.

His ability to be patient and save his equipment until the end of the races is turning heads on the racing scene.

Theriault and the #52 Kenny Schrader Racing team took part in 'throwback weekend' and raced the car in a design to honor three-time ARCA champ, the late Jack Bowsher.

"What an honor to win here…this seems like everybody's favorite track," said Theriault. "This place will beat you up. I didn't know Jack (Bowsher) obviously but to be mentioned in the same sentence with him is an honor. A lot of his family was here tonight and with me in Victory Lane…pretty special to be a part of that. Maybe he was riding with us tonight." - ARCA Press Release

Theriault started the night with a 325 point lead in the driver championship race with Dalton Sargeant. That will expand with a win and the amount of laps leading. Sargeant finished in third place.

There are four races left in the ARCA Series with the next one in Chicago Thursday night.
