Sponsor Team Townsquare in Raising Funds for the County Dialysis Center

Did you know that Team Townsquare is doing our part to help raise money for the County Dialysis Center as part of the Power to the Pedal event that is coming up in Presque Isle on May 29th?

Indeed we are, and here's why:

The County Dialysis Center treats approximately 45 patients three times each week using 10 dialysis treatment chairs and 13 hemodialysis machines which are reaching the end of useful life. To replace this equipment costs nearly $275,000.

• Replacing the reverse osmosis filtration machine and supporting plumbing and electrical systems, critical to The County Dialysis Center, costs nearly $435,000.

• In 2014, patients received 5,789 treatments close to home.

• The County Dialysis Center has been in constant operation for two decades, since 1997.

Once, not too long ago, end-stage renal disease was a terminal condition. Today, it is a chronic condition that can be treated – yet the treatment is time consuming. The County Dialysis Center is vitally important.

Jolene Wallace, Production Coordinator. I handle the bulk of the commercial production load for the company, and some of the staff call me a "Jolene of all trades."

Susan McCormick, Multi-Media Marketing Executive. She is known as " The Squirrel," because she is constantly on the move. That's a good thing for this bike riding event!

Abi Ireland, Sales Associate. She corals the sales department and keeps them moving forward! Also a good thing for this event!

Miranda Levesque, Lead Traffic. Clearly, you can tell just by her title that she's the head of the pack, leading us in the right direction... Whether it be in the office or on a spin bike, the girl's got game!
