What is the Be A Fan Campaign? Well, it’s something pretty special if you ask me!

The Be A Fan Campaign is a national awareness and fundraising initiative in support of Special Olympics in Canada. The main goal is to raise awareness and support for a great cause by spreading the word and having participants wear RED LACES in their shoes today.

Special Olympics is the world’s largest movement dedicated to promoting respect, acceptance, inclusion, and human dignity for people with intellectual disabilities through sports.

Something that I found pretty neat was that members of Codiac Regional RCMP are proudly wearing the Be a fan red shoe laces. This 1st annual Campaign coincides with the 25th anniversary of the Law Enforcement Torch Run and will be taking place throughout Canada.

Anyone would be honored to be associated with the Special Olympics program. You can Be a fan by visiting the Special Olympics website.
