[UPDATE] The Maine Warden Service reports that Lloyd and Wendy Blanchard have been located alive. The couple stayed the night at Northern Outdoors Lodge in The Forks last evening. A miscommunication with the motel owner at Kineo View had them due back Sunday instead of today. Family and friends witnessed the news reports today and made phone calls to advise both the Blanchard’s and the Maine Warden Service of their location.

PREVIOUS STORY: The Maine Warden Service is seeking your help in locating two snowmobilers who were last seen in Greenville Sunday morning.Missing are 46-year-old Lloyd M. Blanchard, Jr.  and 54-year-old Wendy Lainez-Blanchard of Brewer.

The couple left the Kineo View Motel in Greenville between 8 and 9 Sunday morning, according to the Warden Service. They were due back at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon, but never returned. They were each driving 2007 Arctic Cat snowmobiles. One sled is black. The color of the other is unknown at this time.

Officials describe Lloyd Blanchard as 6’2” 210 lbs. with brown hair and brown eyes. Wendy Lainez-Blanchard is about 5’7”, 140 lbs. with blond hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information as to their whereabouts is urged to call the Orono Public Safety Dispatch Center at 1-800-432-7381.
