Saint John Man Arrested in Several Break, Enter and Thefts
A 24-year-old man from the Saint John area is facing ten charges in relation to a number of break, enter and thefts committed in the Baxters Corner and Lakeside areas of New Brunswick.
On January 31, the Hampton RCMP responded to numerous complaints of break, enter and thefts from cottages and motor vehicles, as well as complaints of stolen vehicles.
Austin Joseph Morrison was arrested on Tuesday and made his initial appearance in Saint John Provincial Court on Wednesday. Sgt. Dustine Rodier says Morrison faces charges including theft of a motor vehicle, break and enter, theft under $5000 and possession of property obtained by crime.
He has been remanded into custody and will appear in court again on Thursday.
The investigation into these complaints continues, Rodier said.
