The Northeast District RCMP is asking for the public's help in its investigation into a suspicious fire at the Aboriginal Heritage Garden in Charlo.

During the overnight hours of July 26 and 27, a fire was set along the front of the building at the Aboriginal Heritage Garden, damaging the doors and walls. The cause of the fire is considered suspicious.

Earlier in the week, police and the fire department were called to the Department of Fisheries and Oceans building on Chaleur Street shortly before 3:00 a.m. Sunday where the fire was extinguished and then again early Monday morning around 3:40 a.m. to the same building where the damage was more extensive.
