The West District RCMP is asking for the public's help in locating a snowmobile that was stolen in Scotch Settlement, N.B.

The theft was reported to police on Sunday, according to Cpl. Kevin Jones of the Keswick Detachment. It is believed the snowmobile was stolen sometime between 8:30 p.m. on Friday, January 25 and 3 p.m., on Sunday, January 27, from a residence on Corey Road in Scotch Settlement.

The snowmobile is an orange, 2006 Arctic Cat CF70 with New Brunswick licence plate XS0177.
