
Man Seriously Injured after Snowmobile & Truck Crash in Maine
A 50-year-old man was seriously injured after a snowmobile and truck crashed in Eustis.
Snowmobile Going 60 to 70 mph
The Maine Warden Service said Birch Royall from Kingfield “failed to stop at the stop sign” at the intersection of Flagstaff Road. He was going around 60 to 70 mph.
Serious Injuries
His snowmobile crashed into the side of the pickup truck. Royall was seriously injured.
Airlifted to Hospital
He was transported to the Sugarloaf Regional Airport in Carrabassett Valley and then airlifted to a Bangor hospital.
Truck Driver Not Injured
The driver in the pickup truck was not injured. Name and age were not released. The crash investigation is ongoing.
