Pedestrian Died after Tractor-Trailer Crash on I-95 in Maine
A 49-year-old man died early Friday morning after he was hit by a tractor-trailer on I-95 in Fairfield.
Pedestrian Died Crossing I-95 Exit
The Maine State Police said Mark Michaud from Fairfield “was struck by a tractor-trailer unit while attempting to cross the off-ramp of exit 132.”
Died at the Scene
Michaud was pronounced dead at the scene around 3:37 am.
19-year-Old Truck Driver
The tractor trailer driver, 19-year-old Damon Sylvia from Milford, was not injured in the crash.
Crash Investigation Ongoing
The incident is under investigation by the Maine State Police Accident Reconstruction Team and the Maine State Police.
