One Man Died & One Injured after Head-On Crash on I-95 in Maine
An 82-year-old man died and a 27-year-old man was seriously injured after a head-on crash on I-95 in Pittsfield.
Fatal Crash after Driving Wrong Way on I-95
The Maine State Police said Ivan Cunningham from Corinna was driving the wrong way on the Interstate around 11 am on Tuesday when he collided head-on with Nathaniel Blanchard from Stetson.
One Man Died and One Airlifted to Hospital
Cunningham died at the scene of the crash. Stetson was flown by LifeFlight to Northern Maine Health Eastern Maine Medical Center for treatment.
Interstate Closed for Hours
I-95 was closed for two hours in the area and traffic was rerouted. The investigation is ongoing with Maine State Police and the Maine Department of Transportation.
