A new branch of the County Federal Credit Union will be built and open in Mars Hill in 2019.

The full service branch will be constructed on the site of the former Mars Hill One Stop building on the corner of Route 1 and Route 1A, which will be torn down. Construction is scheduled to begin in early spring of 2019. A grand opening is expected late fall.

The new branch will offer a drive-up window and drive-up 24 hour ATM, along with all of the CFCU's products and services.

County Federal Credit Union President and CEO, Ryan Ellsworth, said, “Once we heard a convenient location at that intersection was going to be available, we knew it would be a great location for our new branch.” He added that there over 1,000 members in Mars Hill and surrounding communities and that CFCU is looking forward to being an active member of the Mars Hill community.
