Missing Fort Fairfield Man Found Dead in Maine
Fort Fairfield Police said the body of a missing Fort Fairfield man, Edward Bolstridge, was found Monday afternoon on an old logging road near Allagash Township.
Air Patrol Located Missing Man’s Vehicle
A U.S. Border Patrol air unit was patrolling Maine’s northwest border when Bolstridge’s Kia Soul vehicle was spotted in township T17 R12.
Wardens on the Scene
“Maine Wardens Service responded to the scene and located Mr. Edward Bolstridge deceased near his vehicle,” said Matthew E. Cummings, Fort Fairfield Police Chief.
Silver Alert Issued in August
A Silver Alert was issued after Bolsridge went missing on August 22. Police said he had cognitive issues.
Investigation is Ongoing
The Maine Medical Examiner’s Office is investigating the case led by the Maine Warden Service.
