Search Continues for Missing Toddler Ayla Reynolds in Oakland, Maine
State Police, Game Wardens and Waterville Police are searching a wooded area in Oakland today in their continued effort to locate Ayla Reynolds, according to Maine Department of Public Safety Spokesman Steve McCausland.
Authorities say more than 30 personnel gathered at 7am Wednesday and began searching an area of woods and clear-cut near a small pond off the Hussey Hill Road in Oakland. The search includes four police canine teams and State Police divers.
McCausland said a news briefing will take place at 1:30 Wednesday afternoon to give an update on the search. That update will take place near the search site.
