The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency and its lab team dismantled a suspected meth lab inside a mobile home on Route 2A in Linneus on Thursday evening.

Drug agents have questioned the man and woman who live in the home, according to Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland.  Also responding to the scene was the Aroostook County Sheriff’s Office, the Maine Department of Environmental Protection and the Linneus Fire Department.

McCausland said Friday that no one has been charged with the meth lab, but 28-year-old Alan Gilotti, who was out on bail on a previous charge of trafficking in methamphetamine, was arrested on a bail violation.  Twenty-eight-year-old Nicole Hall, who was visiting the home, was charged with possessing meth.  Both were taken to the Aroostook County Jail.

Another woman who lives at the home with her 4-year-old daughter has not been charged, McCausland said.

MDEA agents went to the Linneus home Thursday afternoon after the Maine Department of Health and Human Services had received information that a meth lab was operating inside the home.  Sheriff's Deputies were then called to secure the mobile home until the lab team arrived Thursday evening.

This is the eighth meth lab discovered in Maine so far this year.

Officials with the Sheriff's Department say the investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made as of yet.

We'll have more information as it becomes available.
