Two Siblings Arrested for Aggravated Drug Trafficking in Maine
Two men were arrested Tuesday for aggravated drug trafficking after narcotics and guns were seized at 108 Pierce Street in Lewiston.
Siblings Arrested for Aggravated Drug Trafficking
The two men are brothers and lived together. Officers arrested 26-year-old Haji Haji and 22-year-old Ali Haji.
Drugs and Firearms Seized
Police executed a search warrant at their address and seized 12 grams of cocaine base, 10 grams of fentanyl, 2 firearms, one handgun that was previously reported stolen by the owner, one shotgun and over $15,000 in suspected drug proceeds.
Drug Trafficking and Probation Charges
Haji Haji was charged with Aggravated Drug Trafficking with a Probation Hold. He was currently on Probation for Unlawful Drug Trafficking.
Drug Trafficking and Firearms Charges
Ali Haji was charged with Aggravated Drug Trafficking, Theft by Receiving Stolen Property (firearm) and Criminal Forfeiture.
MDEA and ATF Investigated
The siblings were taken to the Androscoggin County Jail. The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency, ATF and Lewiston Police investigated the case.
