A 31-year-old man was sentenced to 2 years and 11 months for drug trafficking in Maine.
35 Months for Drug Trafficking
Devonne Scott from Auburn was given 35 months in prison and three years of supervised release. He was charged with distributing cocaine base in Maine. Scott pleaded guilty on September 19, 2024.
Confidential Informant went to FBI
Court records said “a confidential informant reported to the FBI that a man they knew agreed to sell the informant crack cocaine.”
Videotaped Buys
Scott sold crack to a confidential informant in August 2023. Two controlled buys were monitored and videotaped by police and the FBI.
Investigating Units
Investigators involved in the case were the FBI, U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and the Lewiston Police Department.
