He pleaded guilty for his role in a California-Maine cocaine trafficking conspiracy on December 10, 2025.

Drugs Sent Through the Mail and Trips to Pick up drugs

“Kane and associates repeatedly received large quantities of cocaine via mail, primarily from California, and made trips to California and Mexico to meet with suppliers and co-conspirators,” according to the United States Attorney’s Office.

Conspirators in Possession of Firearms for Drug Trafficking

Kane and associates had multiple firearms and trafficked the drugs to customers in Maine.

Sentenced in United States District Court

Kane was sentenced Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Portland by U.S. District Judge Stacey D. Neumann.

Chief investigators in the case included the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) with the assistance of the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency and the United States Postal Inspection Service.
