Man Arrested for Assault with Brass Knuckles and Bat in Maine
A 30-year-old man was arrested after assaulting a 23-year-old man with brass knuckles and a baseball bat in Athens on Friday night.
Man Arrested and Admitted to Assault
The Somerset County Sheriff’s Office said Michael Cote of Fall River, Massachusetts admitted he attacked the man.
Suspect Claimed Man had sex with 17-Year-Old Daughter
Cote told deputies that he assaulted the man because believed he had sex with his 17-year-old daughter, said the Morning Sentinel.
Man Flown by LifeFlight to Hospital
The 23-year-old man was transported to a Bangor hospital by LifeFlight. He was expected to live, said officials.
Suspect Faces Charges
Cote was charged with Aggravated Assault and Burglary.
