No matter how hard you plan and plan and stress and plan some more, something inevitably will not go as planned at your wedding. That something, is quite often, the very thing that gives you the unique story, the laugh, the memorable moment that will be cherished for many years.

It just may not feel like it at the time.

Inspired by a wedding last month that went viral because the father-of-the-bride walked down the aisle ... without his daughter, many shared their wedding faux pas, too and a lot of them had us dying! When it comes to celebrating (especially with an open bar), there's always bound to be a great story.

If anything, these will make you smile and laugh. And if you have a story to share, please click here and type away. Enjoy!

Amber Bussey - Me and my husband had been dating for about 2 months but we knew we wanted to spend our lives together, so we decided on a whim in the middle of the day to get married by a justice of the peace. The only one we could find was Phil, but he was very busy at Browns funeral home and said if we could come to him, we could get married that day. So, we did! This isn’t a horror story, but I doubt many people get married in funeral homes and are still happily married 9 years later!

Roxanne Blanchard - As maid of honor the best man gave me the rings to get to the church because he didn’t trust himself. I got them to the church but forgot them in my backpack in the basement where we got ready. My best friend got married with mine and another bridesmaid engagement rings. LOL Amanda Howell.

Jamie Nowell Dow - Not at my Wedding, but on my way there I got pulled over by the Cops for speeding. I had my veil on and the cop said, "Ma'am did you realize you were speeding?" I said, "was I?" Then he said, "are you on your way to your wedding? ".. I shook my head yes. Then he said "Well I will give you an early gift and let you off with a warning" I still laugh at that story when our anniversary comes around.

Sandra Goodman - I put my husband's ring on the wrong hand when we exchanged rings during the ceremony. My husband discreetly corrected the mistake without me noticing what I did. Over the 46 years we've been married, my husband, once in a while, likes to tease me about it.

Jodie Lee Herrick - The person marrying us called my husband, Michael, instead of Mitchell several times.

Sharon Hood - DJ played the wrong 1st dance song... instead of "A Whole New World" from Aladdin he played "Beauty and the Beast"! I swear on my father's grave it's true!

Theresa S Dempsey - I said “I Do.”

Glenda Jean Crosby - A car accident in front of my husband's parents' home had him carrying people into the house in his tuxedo! And his uncle ripped the car door off trying to get inside of the car!

Charles Harding - Had the next weekend's wedding that was booked, their food, cake and decor all arranged at our wedding. They made the wrong wedding; Noone knew the difference. Still had a great time.
