Kanye West is most famous for his work in the realm of hip-hop, but as any of his fans would know, he's equally passionate when it comes to the world of fashion. So it isn't too surprising that the Graduation rapper is paying his respects to the recently deceased Franca Sozzani, the Editor-in-Chief of Italian Vogue.

"Franca Sozzani was always so nice and sincere. You will be deeply missed," he writes on Twitter.

Sozzani was a highly respected fashion editor for at least a few decades. She was also a friend of Kanye. Vogue Editor-in Chief Anna Wintour has already offered up an editorial tribute to her memory. Her words are likely just the first of many.

As one of the world's foremost creatives, Kanye is blessed and possibly cursed by a heightened sensitivity to fine artwork, and it's arguably that sensitivity that's led him to appreciate the top minds in the fashion industry. Since entering the fashion world years ago, Kanye has befriended top-notch fashion designers like Anna Wintour, and shown them plenty of reverence along the way.

In a 2015 interview with BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe, he broke down crying when discussing his final encounter with his friend Louise Wilson, who died the year before. She had been a renowned fashion design professor at Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design.

In other Kanye-related news, the Daily Mail is reporting that the "Jesus Walks" performer is currently going to couples therapy with his wife Kim Kardashian. Apparently the decision to attend therapy came about after the two had a "heart-to-heart" and decided to seek counseling for the sake of their children.
