Irish Beat BC At Fenway Park [VIDEO]

For the first time since 1968 football was played at Fenway Park as Notre Dame turned the park into their home field for a game against Boston College.

The Irish got all they could handle from the Eagles but in the pulled out a 19-16 win and improved to 10-1 on the season. Despite the win, Notre Dame could see themselves slip out of the number 4 spot when the new football rankings come out this week.

BC was able to keep the game close thanks to 5 turnovers by the Irish. Three of those turnovers came inside the BC 5 yard line.

Before the field is turned back to a baseball surface, Fenway will host a hurling match today between Dublin and Galway. This will be the first time hurling has been played at the park since 1954.
