
Man and Dog Died after Head-On Collision in Maine
A man and a dog died Wednesday morning after a head-on collision on Route 69 in Newburgh.
Head-On Crash Involving Porsche and Tractor-Trailer
The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office said a Porsche Sedan crossed the centerline on a curve in the road and crashed head-on with a tractor-trailer.
Truck Hit Garage after Vehicle Collision
The tractor trailer then left the road and hit a residential garage.
Driver and Dog Died
The driver in the Porsche was pronounced dead at the scene. The dog in the vehicle died on the way to a local veterinarian. The tractor-trailer driver was not injured. Names and ages were not released.
Crash at Intersection
The crash happened around 11:55 am at the intersection of Route 69 and Route 202. The investigation is ongoing.
