14-Year-Old Charged with Arson after Fires at Home in Maine
A 14-year-old male on supervised release was charged with Arson after several fires were set in Rangeley.
Home Ransacked and Fires Started
Multiple fires were started Friday and a home was ransacked at 50 Pleasant Street, said the Maine Department of Public Safety.
Teen Charged with Setting Another Fire
He was also charged with setting a fire at Saddleback View Apartments in Rangeley on August 9.
Supervised Release
The 14-year-old was on supervised release for prior offenses.
Arson Charges
He was taken into custody and charged with Arson. The teen was transported to Long Creek Youth Development Center in South Portland. The investigation is ongoing.
