19-Year-Old Dies in Dirt Bike Accident in Pont-Landry

The Northeast District RCMP is investigating an off-road vehicle crash in Pont-Landry, N.B. on Saturday that claimed the life of a 19-year-old man.

Cpl. Marc Leger said the crash occurred near the Veniot Road when the victim lost control of the dirt bike he was driving. The victim, who is from Sainte-Rose, passed away at the scene as a result of his injuries.

The investigation into the cause of the crash is continuing, Leger said. We’ll have more information as it becomes available.
