Danforth Man Sent to Prison for 5-Years in Meth Case
A man from Danforth will spend five years behind bars for his role in the manufacturing of methamphetamine.
Officials say 39-year-old Allen Richardson was sentenced Tuesday morning in a Machias courtroom after pleading guilty earlier this month.
30-year-old Tabbatha Osnoe pleaded guilty in September and was sentenced to 2-and-a-half years in prison.
The couple was arrested in March after police found evidence of the manufacture of meth at their home after a fire was reported at their house shortly after the couple’s 5-month-old son was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
It’s still not known how the baby died.
Richardson admitted he’d been making meth for the past half-year, saying he’d cooked it more than a thousand times. Osnoe told agents she’d bought ingredients to give to Richardson to make meth.
