
Man Sentenced after Failing to Surrender in a Prior Case in Maine
A 34-year-old man was sentenced to 37 months in prison for failing to surrender for service on a prior case in Maine.
Prior Sentence for 75 Months on Firearms Charges
Christopher Tucker had already been sentenced to 75 months in prison for firearms charges in September, 2025.
37 Months in Prison in Addition to Prior Sentence of 75 Months
He was given an additional 37 months in prison for failing to surrender for service of a sentence imposed in a prior case.
Court Permitted Self-Surrender to Custody
“Tucker was permitted to remain out on release and to self-surrender to the custody of the Federal Bureau of Prisons at a later date but he failed to surrender as ordered,” according to the United States Attorney’s Office.

Pleaded Guilty for Failing to Surrender
Tucker pleaded guilty on February 17, 2026 for failing to surrender for a sentence.
Fugitive Arrested by the United States Marshals Service
The United States Marshals Service apprehended him in Bath after he did not surrender for his prior sentence.

Consecutive Sentences to be Served
Tucker will serve 37 months consecutively with his 75 month sentence in the firearms case.
