State Police say 21-year-old Dillon Hadfield of Chapman was driving east on the Chapman Road in his white 2003 GMC pickup shortly before 11 a.m.   Hadfield came to an area of the roadway that had some snow and slush, according to Trooper Dennis Quint.

When Hadfield struck the snow and slush, the pickup lost traction and pulled to the left. The tires left the roadway and the vehicle rolled twice and ended up  on its roof.  Police said Hadfield, who was not wearing his seat belt, was able to crawl out of the passenger side window.

He  was transported  by Crown Ambulance to The Aroostook Medical Center in Presque Isle as a precaution and was treated and released.   The Presque Isle Fire Department was on scene due to fuel leaking from the vehicle as a result of the crash.
