Caribou Man & Bangor Woman Arrested for Drug Trafficking, Auburn, Maine
A 33-year-old Caribou man and a 39-year-old Bangor woman were arrested in Auburn, Maine Thursday, January 20, 2022. They are each charged with four counts of Aggravated Trafficking Schedule W Drugs and Violation of Conditional Release.
Police said Adam Jalbert and Angelina Quirion also tried to use counterfeit currency to bail someone out of the Androscoggin County Jail.
Jalbert and Quirion were in a vehicle outside the jail when officers located them around 11:30 p.m., January 20. They both had active bail conditions related to previous drug arrests.
Police searched the vehicle and seized “a large quantity of narcotics” including 112.3 grams of cocaine base, 165.3 grams of cocaine, 299.5 grams of fentanyl, and 492.3 grams of methamphetamine. A SCCY 9mm pistol was also located and seized. A K9 from the Lewiston Police Department assisted in the search.
Auburn Police said they “anticipate additional charges being filed” as they work with other law enforcement and agencies on the investigation.
