BLACKPINK didn't only make Billboard chart history this week — they made double chart history. The South Korean group's new single "Kill This Love" debuted at No. 41 on the Hot 11 chart, making it the highest-charting Hot 100 hit ever by a K-pop girl group (a record previously set by BLACKPINK's own "DDU-DU DDU-DU," which debuted and peaked at No. 55 in June 2018).

The single comes from a new EP of the same name, which also made chart history by debuting at No. 24 on the Billboard 200 chart, making it the highest placement by an all-female K-Pop group.

Aside from making chart history, the quartet also made Coachella history over the weekend. Their set on Friday (April 12) was the first performance by a girl K-Pop group in festival history.

"Is this real or is this a computer effect?" Lisa asked the crowd during their set. Jennie added, “Us coming all the way from South Korea, we didn’t know what to expect, and obviously we - you guys and us - we’re from totally different worlds. But tonight, I think we’ve learned so deeply that music brings us as one. So I want to thank you guys tonight for sticking by to the end of the show."

Their "Kill This Love" music video held the title of most-viewed in its first 24 hours until BTS dethroned it with their "Boy With Luv" video.
