Baby and Man Died & Woman Injured after Crash in Maine
A 20-year-old man and a 7-month-old baby died Wednesday night and a 20-year-old woman was seriously injured after a single-vehicle crash in Lewiston.
Man Died at the Scene
The Lewiston Police Department said Tyrell Willigar from Brunswick died at the scene.
Baby Died at Hospital
Adaysia Read and 7-month-old Kinsley Willigar were both taken to Maine Medical Center with serious injuries. Kinsley later died at the hospital. Her mother remains in critical condition.
Vehicle Hit Tree
The crash happened around 10:45 pm on Grove Street after their vehicle went off the road and crashed into a tree.
Speed Believed to be a Factor
“It appears that speed was a contributing factor,” said Lewiston PD. The investigation is ongoing.
