The Ashland woman was southbound when she lost control of her 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser, according to Trooper Gavin Endre. Roads were slippery at the time.

The vehicle went off the right side of the road and rolled over. The woman was transported by Ashland Ambulance to The Aroostook Medical Center in Presque Isle with non-life threatening injuries, Endre said.

The Maine Forest Service and Ashland Fire and Rescue also responded to the accident.

State police say the woman was wearing a seat belt.

CORRECTION: This accident occurred in Masardis, not Mapleton as was originally reported.
