Sheriff's Deputies were called to the accident on the Morneault Road shortly before 1:00 p.m.  Police say Rachel Ezzy Levesque, 47, of Grand Isle, was traveling east in her Pontiac Grand Am when slush and snow on the roadway caused her to lose control. The car went off the road, over the snowbank and rolled onto its side, the Sheriff’s Office said.

Levesque was not injured. Damage to her car is estimated at $1,200.

Deputy Sheriff Chad Foley investigated the crash. Grand Isle Fire Department and Van Buren Ambulance also responded to assist at the scene.
