A 33-year-old man died after falling off a fishing boat in Cobbosseecontee Stream in West Gardiner.
Man Died Fishing on Boat
Chadd Brewin had a medical event while fishing with his father-in-law on Monday, said the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.
Man Fell Overboard
Brewin fell overboard and into the water. The boat then overturned when his father-in-law tried to get him back to shore.
Pronounced Dead at Hospital
Brewin was taken to the hospital where he died.
Second Death due to Medical Event
Officials said it was the second death from a medical event on Cobbosseecontee Stream in one week.
