
Man Sentenced to 10 Years in Prison for Drug Trafficking in Maine
A 35-year-old man was sentenced to 10 years in prison for Drug Trafficking in Maine.
Sentenced to 120 Months
Pierre Calhoun was given 120 months with three years supervised release. He was charged with selling crack cocaine on two occasions to a confidential DEA source. He pleaded guilty in November 2024.
Career Offender
Calhoun was previously convicted of at least two violent crimes. He was given an enhanced sentence as a Career Offender, said the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Two Undercover Drug Buys
Court records show that Calhoun sold a total of 25 grams of crack to a DEA confidential source in May and June 2024. Both transactions were recorded on video and audio.
Multi-Agency Drug Case
Investigating the case was the DEA, Maine Drug Enforcement Agency and the Lewiston Police.
