
20-Year-Old Man Died & One Seriously Injured after Crash in Maine
A 20-year-old man died and his 20-year-old passenger was seriously injured early Saturday morning after a crash into a large tree in New Gloucester.
Driver Pronounced Dead at the Scene
The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office said Brandon Robinson from Damariscotta died at the scene of the crash around 12:10 am.
Passenger Extricated and Seriously Injured
His passenger, Cody Huff from Portland, had to be extricated from the vehicle. He was seriously injured and taken to Maine Medical Center in Portland, said WGME News.
Hit a Fence and Large Tree
Deputies said Robinson crossed the centerline, left the roadway, hit a wooden fence and collided with a large tree.
Speed and Alcohol Factors
Speed and alcohol appear to be factors in the crash, said the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office.
