A woman died Monday after she was hit by a vehicle on Depot Road in Buckfield.
Pedestrian Died after being Hit by Vehicle
The Oxford County Sheriff’s Office said the woman was a pedestrian and was seriously injured when a vehicle struck her around 5:30 am.
Woman Died at the Scene
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, said News Center Maine.
Officials said Speed and Alcohol not Factors
The Sheriff’s Office said they did not believe speed and alcohol were factors in the crash.
Names and Ages
Name and age were not released until the woman’s family was notified. The driver’s name and age was not made available.
