
Woman Arrested after Crashing Car into House & Fleeing in Maine
A 29-year-old woman was arrested Thursday and charged with crashing a car into a house and fleeing from the scene in Auburn.
Crashed into House and Left the Scene
Jordina Nissi was charged with Aggravated Criminal Mischief • Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident • Operating Without a License • Driving to Endanger.
Crash Video
The Auburn Police Department released a video from a neighbor showing Nissi in a vehicle rolling backwards and crashing into a house at 49 Jefferson Street. A woman watering the yard was almost hit.
Fled from Scene
Nissi then got out of the car and fled on foot towards Minot Avenue.
K-9 Search
A search with K-9 “Brick” tracked her to Fairview Avenue where she was apprehended and taken into custody.
Taken to Hospital and Jail
Nissi was taken to CMMC for medical clearance and then transported to the Androscoggin County Jail.
Damage Inspection
The Auburn Fire Department inspected the damage to the house and deemed it safe for occupancy.
