Winter Crow Hunt Wraps Up for the Year
Maine's annual winter crow hunt has ended for the year.
Parts of far northern Maine finished up the crow hunting season on Friday. The hunt ended in the rest of the state on March 31.
There is also a summer hunt that lasts from Aug. 1 to Sept. 23 all over Maine.
There are no bag limits or possession limits on hunting crows.
The state's crow hunt has existed for many years for farmers who see them as pests and hunters who shoot them for sport.
