A 65-year-old man died while hunting after an ATV crash in Dixmont on Saturday morning.

Man Died in ATV Crash while Hunting

The Maine Warden Service said Patrick LaFlamme was hunting with friends and left camp on his ATV. His friends went looking for him when he did not return.

Dead Body Found

LaFlamme was found dead on an old road near Firetower Road, said WABI News.

ATV Rolled Over on Top of Man

Wardens said the ATV crashed and rolled over on top of Laflamme. He died from his injuries at the scene. His body was taken to Plummer Funeral Home in Augusta.

Law Enforcement Involved

Assisting in the investigation was the Penobscot Sheriff’s Office, the Dixmont Fire Department, and Plymouth Fire and Rescue.
