Two people were seriously injured Monday after a head-on crash on Route 2 in Hermon.
Two-Vehicle Crash with Serious Injuries
The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office said a vehicle crossed the centerline and crashed head-on with a utility truck around 1:30 pm.
Two People Injured and Transported to the Hospital
Both drivers were taken to the local hospital. The truck driver was listed in serious condition.
Road was Closed
The road was closed for hours and later reopened to traffic. The crash investigation remains open.
