Two people were injured Sunday afternoon following a head-on crash on Route 35 in Standish.

The collision happened around 5 pm near the Standish and Windham border, said WGME News.
Driver Crossed Centerline
The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office said one driver had minor injuries after crossing the centerline and hitting an oncoming vehicle head-on.
One Person with Serious Injuries
The second driver was seriously injured and taken to the hospital.
Officials said Alcohol and Speed not Factors
Police said driver’s inattention caused the crash. Alcohol and speed do not appear to be factors. The crash investigation is ongoing.
