Two Men Charged with Arson after Car Fire in Maine
Two more men were charged with arson and criminal conspiracy after a motor vehicle fire in Steuben.
Two More Men Charged with Motor Vehicle Arson
The Maine State Police said 38-year-old William Smeal and 37-year-old Taylor Keene were arrested at their residence in Ellsworth. Keane was the owner of the vehicle set on fire.
One Man Arrested after Fire
The arson happened on Pinkham Road on October 13, 2024. Police arrested 30-year-old Cameron Brown from Steuben shortly after the incident.
Arson Charges
Brown was charged with arson and theft and taken to the Hancock County Jail.
Two More Men Face Arson and other Charges
Smeal and Keene were charged with Arson, Criminal Conspiracy and Criminal Attempt (insurance deception). They were both transported to the Hancock County Jail.
