A firefighter was injured and two dogs died Wednesday morning after a house fire in Herman.

The house on George Road was contained mostly to the kitchen when departments responded to the blaze around 11:30 am.
Two Dogs Died
Two dogs perished in the fire, said WABI News.
Firefighter Injured and Taken to Hospital
The injured firefighter was transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
Fire Investigation
The fire is under investigation.
