One Person with Serious Injuries was Flown by Life Flight to the Hospital

One person with serious injuries was flown by Life Flight to Maine Medical Center in Portland.

Four People had Minor Injuries and Were Taken to the Hospital

Four people with minor injuries were transported to the hospital for treatment.

Firefighter Injured and Released at the Scene

One firefighter had minor injuries and was evaluated at the scene and released.

House Fire Started in the Afternoon

The house fire on Dyvonne Terrace started around 3:30pm.

Mutual Aid Responded to the Fire

Multiple fire departments responded to assist the Bridgton Fire Department.

Cause of the Fire Under Investigation

The Office of State Fire Marshal was on the scene to investigate the cause of the blaze.

Propane Leak Inside the Home was Accidently Ignited

“The investigation determined the fire likely started after a propane leak inside the home was accidentally ignited,” according to the Maine Department of Public Safety.

House was Under Construction and a Total Loss

The home was under construction and was determined to be a total loss.
