Two Arrested in Vandalism Spree at Fredericton Area Golf Course
The RCMP have arrested two people in connection with three incidents of property damage at Kingswood Golf Course, just outside Fredericton.
Officials say the damage was caused between June 27 and June 29 by all-terrain vehicles or motorbikes doing jumps and donuts on the golf course in Hanwell. Damage to the green and to several golf carts was estimated to be as much as $100,000.
An 18-year-old man was arrested and released on a promise to appear in court on September 5, according to Keswick RCMP. A juvenile was arrested and remanded into custody. He will appear in Fredericton Provincial Court on Thursday, July 10.
Police are also investigating a third suspect believed to have been involved in this vandalism spree.
The investigation is continuing.
