Attempted Murder Charges after Shooting 17-Year-Old in Maine
A 19-year-old man was arrested for aggravated attempted murder after shooting and seriously injuring a 17-year-old in Portland early Tuesday morning.
Man Charged with Aggravated Attempted Murder
Dominic Moncada-Sanchez was apprehended in South Portland Tuesday night around 10:30 pm.
Aggravated Assault Charges
He was charged with aggravated attempted murder, elevated aggravated assault, and violating conditions of release, said WGME News.
Victim was Shot and Critically Injured
The 17-year-old victim was found critically injured with gunshot wounds at 1390 Forest Avenue around 2:20 am. He was taken to Maine Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
Transported to Jail
Moncada-Sanchez was taken to the Cumberland County Jail.
