The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is part of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and is responsible for keeping transportation systems safe.
This includes airports and air travel, and when it comes to what you can or cannot bring with you, the final call always rests with the TSA officer at the checkpoint.
